Stannah 320 Outdoor

Designed for outdoor use, the Model 320 is built to withstand heavy rain, dusty wind and salt-laden sea-breezes. The chair rides along a 4″ wide rail which is securely fastened to some of the stair treads. The chair is battery powered, and trickle-charges constantly so that the stairlift is always ready for use. The battery-charger needs to be kept dry, so is usually placed indoors, with a low-voltage wire going to the stairlift. Keyed landing-controls prevent unauthorized use of the stairlift. A sturdy cover may be used to protect the stairlift when not in use.

    • The Stannah 320 is totally unique in that it’s the only stairlift in the UK to have been designed specifically for outdoor use. Based on the technology used for the Stannah 300 stairlift for indoor straight stairs, the new Stannah 320 has been designed and engineered specifically for outdoor use on straight steps.
    • This revolutionary outdoor stairlift is perfect if you live in a hilly or mountainous area, have a cliff-set seaside home or need to access a garden, garage or cellar.
    • Robust and reliable, the Stannah 320 outdoor stairlift is designed to operate in all weathers from -10°C to +40°C (23°F to 105°F) and is both UV protected and corrosion resistant. To protect it from rain, it has a plastic seat which comes complete with a protective cover.
    • For absolute safety, the power source of this outdoor stairlift is protected from the elements and all the wiring is carefully concealed.
    • Like our indoor stairlifts, the 320 outdoor stairlift folds conveniently away when not in use, so there’s plenty of room for others wishing to use the steps.
    • Finally, to blend in with any environment the Stannah 320 comes in a light, neutral grey colour.
